Hello!

This is Rayhan; I'm a Mechanical Engineer and Research Scientist with a strong background in mechanical design and analysis, robotics and mechatronics, product design, control systems, and electromechanical systems. Currently, I am working as a 'Lead Engineer, Mechanical, Product Design & Engineering' for Baker Hughes. My previous experience includes working as the Director of Engineering for the Healthy Home Lab at the University of Pittsburgh where I led a collaborative, multi-school, multi-department initiative focused on the design, development, evaluation, and translation of assistive technologies for aging (AT-A) to support individuals to age in place. Before joining Pitt, I worked as a graduate research assistant at the Human-Centered Bio-Robotics Laboratory at The University of Alabama, where I developed a deep understanding of advanced robotics and their application in healthcare-medical robotics and rehabilitation. I received my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) from The University of Alabama and a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Bangladesh. With a strong passion for innovation and a dedication to positively impacting society, I'm confident I will be a valuable asset to any organization looking to push the boundaries of research and technology in mechanical engineering and robotics.
